David Dobson
Owner-Operator
Dobson Guitar Services evolved from a hobby where David Dobson was performing guitar repairs on his own guitars, as well as for friends, during the 80s and 90s while performing in the Launceston music scene. He originally developed his skills training as a fitter and turner in the 1970s, a skill set that transferred easily into guitar repair work.
That attention to detail has solidified his brand, not only in Tasmania but interstate. Fifteen years on, Dobson Guitar Services has become one of the most respected and trusted guitar repair services in Tasmania, with a strong following from the local Tasmanian music scene as well as interstate artists when on tour.
